Assistant Principal
Hello, Arboga families!
My name is Jordan Gorman, and I am excited to join the Arboga community as the new Assistant Principal. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to serve a TK–8 school and support students throughout so many important stages of their education.
I have worked in education for 19 years and have had the opportunity to support students at the elementary, intermediate, secondary, and continuation levels. Along the way, I have served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, athletic director, coach, teacher-in-charge, and behavior intervention teacher. Each of these experiences has helped shape who I am as an educator and strengthened my belief that students thrive when schools are built on strong relationships, clear expectations, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to helping every child succeed.
As Assistant Principal, I want students to know that I am someone they can talk to and count on. I also look forward to partnering with families and staff to create a school environment where students feel safe, connected, challenged, and proud to be part of Arboga.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children, coaching, watching sports, fishing, and being outdoors. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I am a product of MJUSD and giving back to this community is something that I cherish.
I am grateful for the warm welcome I have already received and look forward to getting to know Arboga’s students, families, and staff. Please feel free to introduce yourself when you see me around campus. I am excited for a great school year!
Sincerely,
Jordan Gorman
